This page outlines how we process the personal data of users who visit this website (hereinafter, the “Site”), accessible at https://www.visacoasters.it. 3. TYPES OF DATA AND PURPOSE OF THE PROCESSING OF NAVIGATION DATA
The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during normal operation, certain browsing data that is implicitly transmitted when using internet communication protocols. This data, related to internet traffic, by its nature cannot be immediately associated with identified data subjects. However, through processing or association with data held by third parties, it may allow users/visitors to be identified (such as, for example, IP addresses, type of browser and operating system used by the user, time of web page access requests). This data is used only for anonymous statistical information regarding website visits or to verify its proper functioning. This data is retained for the period strictly necessary and in accordance with applicable regulatory provisions.

4. DATA COMMUNICATED BY THE USER
The optional, explicit, and voluntary sending of messages to the Site’s contact addresses entails the acquisition of the sender’s contact information, which is necessary for responding, as well as all personal data included in the communications. 6. LEGAL BASIS FOR THE PROCESSING
Browsing data is processed for our legitimate interest in ensuring the security of the site, monitoring its proper functioning, and obtaining statistics relating to its use (Article 6, paragraph 1, letter f of the GDPR). The legal basis for the processing of data provided by the user is consent.

7. DATA RECIPIENTS
The parties, designated by the Data Controller as data processors pursuant to Article 28 of the Regulation, are recipients of the data collected following consultation of the Site. The updated list of these parties may be requested from the Owner at any time.

8. TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA
Personal data will be processed within the European Union and are managed exclusively by the company’s technical personnel assigned to processing. No data is communicated or distributed to third parties for purposes other than those explicitly related to the services. Only in relation to the provision of the newsletter service, with prior consent, the data (name and email address) are transferred to a data controller located in France, Germany, and the USA, who guarantees adequate data protection measures.

9. STORAGE PERIOD
Browsing data is retained for the period strictly necessary and in accordance with applicable regulations. Permanence of data sent via contact forms: refer to the Contact Form Privacy Policy, section 12.1. Permanence of data communicated for the newsletter service: refer to the Newsletter Privacy Policy, section 12.2.

10. OBLIGATION TO PROVIDE DATA AND CONSEQUENCES
Consent to the processing of personal data provided by the user is optional, but if the user refuses to provide the aforementioned data, it will not be possible to respond to the user’s requests or provide the newsletter service.

11. RIGHTS OF THE INTERESTED PARTY
At any time, the data subject may exercise, in relation to the data processing described above, the rights provided by applicable data protection legislation, including the right to:

  • receive confirmation of the existence of their personal data and access their content (right of access);
  • update, modify, and/or correct their personal data (right to rectification);
  • request the erasure or restriction of processing of data processed unlawfully, including data whose retention is unnecessary for the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed (right to be forgotten and right to restriction);

12. ADDITIONS TO THIS INFORMATION NOTICE
In relation to specific services offered on the Site and/or offered by it to you, specific Privacy Policies have been prepared which form an integral part of this generic Privacy Policy.

12.1 PRIVACY POLICY FOR CONTACT/REQUEST FORM. Forms available on the site are intended solely to allow site visitors to contact the site owner/operator via email. This supplement to the information concerns the personal data submitted by the visitor when completing the form.

12.1.5. STORAGE PERIOD. The processing will last no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the data was collected, or to allow the exchange of communications between the applicant and the Data Controller.

12.1.6. OBLIGATION TO PROVIDE DATA AND CONSEQUENCES. There is no obligation to provide the operator of this site with the personal data requested in forms. However, refusal to provide such data will make it impossible to send your message to the website operator.

12.1.7. RIGHTS OF THE INTERESTED PARTY. Data subjects have the right to obtain from the Data Controller access to their personal data and the rectification or erasure of the same, the restriction of processing concerning them, or to object to processing (Articles 15 et seq. of the Regulation), as well as to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority or receive a copy of their data in electronic format.

 

12.2 PRIVACY POLICY FOR THE NEWSLETTER

This disclosure is an integral part of our general Privacy Policy and contains all the information you need to use the Newsletter service in full awareness of the data you provide or will provide to subscribe to the service.

12.2.2. RECIPIENTS AND TRANSFERS OUTSIDE THE EU. The service is provided through the Brevo platform, owned by Sendinblue France (SAS), a company based in France. Sendinblue France is contractually committed to processing user data in accordance with the Standard Contractual Clauses, ensuring a level of personal data protection adequate to the standards required by European supervisory authorities. This company will process the data as Data Processor, in compliance with these standards (see the privacy policy at: https://www.brevo.com/legal/privacypolicy).

12.2.3. TYPES OF DATA, PURPOSE OF PROCESSING AND LEGAL BASIS. To subscribe to the newsletter, you are required to provide your name and email address. This information is necessary to qualify the data and deliver the emails. The legal basis for the processing of data provided by the user is consent.

12.2.4. STORAGE PERIOD. Processing for informational and marketing purposes is considered valid until the interested party withdraws consent (or unsubscribes), or 12 months after the last communication for which there is evidence of direct interaction (click, open, reply), or once the contact is considered inactive. After these periods, the data will be deleted.

12.2.5. OBLIGATION TO PROVIDE DATA AND CONSEQUENCES. There is no obligation to provide the operator of this site with the personal data requested for sending the newsletter. However, it is understood that refusal to provide such data will make it impossible to provide the newsletter service.

12.2.6. UNSUBSCRIBING FROM THE NEWSLETTER / REVOCATION OF CONSENT. To stop receiving the Newsletter and opt out, click the “Unsubscribe” button at the bottom of each email sent from the platform. If you encounter any problems, please report or request cancellation to the Data Controller using the email address indicated in point 1.

12.2.7. RIGHTS OF THE INTERESTED PARTY. Data subjects have the right to obtain from the Data Controller access to their personal data and the rectification or erasure of the same, the restriction of processing concerning them, or to object to processing (Articles 15 et seq. of the Regulation), as well as to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority or receive a copy of their data in electronic format.
